“If one has to follow the practice of another one he must follow the practice of one who is dead for a living person is never immune from trial. Those who can be safely followed are the companions of Muhammad for they are best of Ummah, purest of heart, most profound in knowledge of Islam, most unassuming. Allah chose them for the companionship of His Apostle and for establishing the supremacy of his religion so acknowledge their merit, follow their footsteps and hold fast to the best of your ability their morals and their character for they are on the right guidance.”
‘Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood
