From ‘Urwa who said:

‘Whenever I used to get up in the morning, [when I go out] I would start with visiting the house of ‘Aaishah (radhiyallaahu ‘anhaa) so as to greet her.

One day I went there and she was standing in prayer and reciting [the verse]:

فَمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ

“But Allaah has been gracious to us, and has saved us from the torment of the Fire.” [1]

[‘Urwa continues to say]:  [She was reciting it] and supplicating, and crying, and repeating it.

So I stood there waiting for her [to finish so as to greet her].

But I got tired.

So I went to the market for a need of mine.

And when I returned, she was still standing there as I left her, praying and crying.”  [2]

Excerpts From The Book:

From Hishaam that his father [‘Urwa- the scholar & nephew of ‘Aisha] said:
”Indeed I have accompanied ‘Aaishah (radhiyallaahu ‘anhaa), and I have never seen any one, ever, who is more knowledgeable of any verse , or of the inheritance laws, or of the Sunnah, or poetry, or of the Arab history, or lineages, or of the judgments, or medicine…’
page: 47

And Imaam ash-Sha’bee used to mention her, and be amazed by her understanding of the religion and her knowledge. Then he would say :

”But [after all] what do you think about the Prophetic nurturing !?”

[Meaning don’t be amazed by her knowledge and excellence. Indeed she was nurtured and cultivated by the best of all the people, the Imaam of Imaams, the scholar of all scholars, and it is the Prophet Sallallaahu ‘alayhi wasallam]

Alhamdulillaah, and may peace and blessings of The Lord be upon Muhammad, his wives, his companions, and those who followed them in goodness.

Last year a book entitled ‘Jewel of Medina’ was released amidst much controversy. It is a book which has no value and no respect for our Prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam) and his close ones.

Sufficient for a comment on the book is the statement of Denise A. Spellberg, Assoc. Professor of History and Middle Eastern Studies at The University of Texas at Austin [replying to one who accused her of instigating the decision of not to publish that book (which was published anyway)]  she wrote:

‘…As a historian invited to “comment” on the book by its Random House editor at the author’s express request, I objected strenuously to the claim that “The Jewel of Medina” was “extensively researched,” as stated on the book jacket. As an expert on Aisha’s life, I felt it was my professional responsibility to counter this novel’s fallacious representation of a very real woman’s life. The author and the press brought me into a process, and I used my scholarly expertise to assess the novel. It was in that same professional capacity that I felt it my duty to warn the press of the novel’s potential to provoke anger among some Muslims.

There is a long history of anti-Islamic polemic that uses sex and violence to attack the Prophet and his faith. This novel follows in that oft-trodden path, one first pioneered in medieval Christian writings. The novel provides no new reading of Aisha’s life, but actually expands upon provocative themes regarding Muhammad’s wives first found in an earlier novel by Salman Rushdie, “The Satanic Verses,” which I teach. I do not espouse censorship of any kind, but I do value my right to critique those who abuse the past without regard for its richness or resonance in the present.

The combination of sex and violence sells novels. When combined with falsification of the Islamic past, it exploits Americans who know nothing about Aisha or her seventh-century world and counts on stirring up controversy to increase sales…’

This was an article on the Wall Street Journal, Aug 9.

When the release of the book was announced; actions of violence encountered it.

We are in no way affiliated, perpetrating, nor supporting that.  Violence is not the solution. [Don’t you see it is still in the markets upto this moment!!].

We say:

1. To describe that book as ‘Extensively researched’; is unacceptable and is misleading.

2. O, Muslims; yes we are enraged by such blasphemous content being spread in regards to the best of the people.

But we remind you:

“….You shall certainly hear much that will grieve you from those who received the Scripture before you and from those who ascribe partners to Allâh, but if you persevere patiently, and become Al-Muttaqûn (the pious) then verily, that will be a determining factor in all affairs, and that is from the great matters, [which you must hold on with all your efforts].”

 (Aal-Imraan: 186)

 So keep this in mind.

Then let’s ask ourselves: ‘We love our mother ‘Aisha (may Allaah be pleased with her), and we defend her honour; as her honour is the honour of the Prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam)?

Yes, Indeed.

Yet how many narrations mentioning her excellences, her virtues, and her merits do you know?

……!!

Do you actually contemplate on the Word of Allaah?

“The Prophet is closer to the believers than their ownselves, and his wives are their (believers’) mothers (as regards respect and marriage).”  (Al-Ahzaab: 6)

So is this how we treat our Mother?

No.

Thus, as a present to all those who love their religion, and those who love their noble Prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam), and love whom he used to love:  we present to you this humble research,

Fadhlu Aishah; Ummul Mu’mineen, As-Siddeeqah bint Siddeeq :

The Excellence of ‘Aisha; The Mother of the Believers, The Truthful one  the daughter of the truthful one.

A book comprising of the excellences of this great woman, And her merits; as in the Sacred texts of the Qur’an and the Authentic Sunnah, And her virtues; as witnessed by the noble companions, And the affirmation of her lofty status; as through the narrations of the Imaams of Islaam.

Note: This is an ‘un-official’ announcement of the release of the book. And this book is not a refutation of that book.  Sufficient that the author of that dirty book –herself- described it as fiction.

Anyway what is important is: How do you repel those kinds of distortions, and shubuhaat [doubts and whims], and ‘fabricated fiction’ [if we can call it that]?

Answer: The only way –as explained by the Imaams of the Sunnah- is to acquire knowledge which counters, repels, and destroys the doubts of the doubters.

So for us; is to seek knowledge –from the Sacred texts of the Qura’n and the Sunnah- and by the will of Allaah, that will be our recipe of success.

Indeed The Prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam) said:

مَنْ يُرِدْ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ

“The One whom Allaah wishes good for;

He makes him knowledgeable in the religion.”

[Saheeh Muslim]

Official Announcement of the book is coming soon InshaAllaah, this is the cover:

untitled

From ‘Aasim al-Ahwaal who said :

“We used to enter upon Hafsa bint Sireen, and she would cover herself with her Jilbaab like this:  she would cover her face.

So we would say to her: “May Allaah have mercy on you! Allaah The Exalted said :

وَالْقَوَاعِدُ مِنَ النِّسَاء اللَّاتِي لَا يَرْجُونَ نِكَاحًا فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِنَّ جُنَاحٌ أَن يَضَعْنَ ثِيَابَهُنَّ غَيْرَ مُتَبَرِّجَاتٍ بِزِينَةٍ

‘And as for women past child-bearing who do not expect wed-lock, it is no sin on them if they discard their (outer) clothing in such a way as not to show their adornment…’

And what is meant here is the Jilbaab.’

He the narrator said: ‘so she would say to us:

‘Then what is next?’

We would say [reciting the next portion of the verse]:

وَأَن يَسْتَعْفِفْنَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُنَّ

…But to refrain (i.e. not to discard their outer clothing) is better for them…

Thus we would say:

‘This [action of her’s] is the real affirmation of Hijaab (covering one’s self).’’

The Prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam) said:

إِذَا أُصِيبَ أَحَدُكُمْ بِمُصِيبَةٍ، فَلْيَذْكُرْ مُصِيبَتَهُ بِي، فَإِنَّهَا أَعْظَمُ الْمَصَائِبِ عِنْدَهُ

“If any of you is struck with a calamity; then let him remember his calamity with me [i.e. my death], for indeed it is the greatest of all calamities.”

Authenitcated by Imaam Al-Albaanee in As-Saheeha: 1106

Surely, all other calamities –are sorrowful- but they can not be compared to the magnitude of that.

By Allaah, ask yourself: how many times have you remembered and contemplated that our beloved one (sallahAllaahu ‘alayhi wasallam) has passed on?

By Allaah, ask yourself: how many times have you cried when you remember this great calamity?

The Palestinian Crisis 6: A Reminder

Alhamdulillaah, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and messenger.

Indeed Prophet SallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam said:

“Whoever relieves a believer of distress -from the distressful matters of this world- Allaah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the hereafter… Allaah will continue to help a servant as long as the servant is helping his brother.” (Muslim)

And so we present these words to each other: while hoping to achieve that great excellence of being helped –by Allaah- in this world, and being rescued of difficulties in this next life:

To build upon our last article, we see the need to re-emphasize on clarifying the hypocrisy and deceiving plots of the raafidha –whether from Lebanon or the headquarters of Iran- all because some of us as Sunnis; we tend to fall for their false shouts, which make them appear like they are the ones who really care for our brethren.

Rather they tend to paint the picture that the Sunnis are worthless to their brethren, while -they are the ‘real deal’- .

But as for those who have read our last article; I hope –InshaAllaah- they have had an insight on these people.

Here we would specifically like to expose the hypocrisy of these people – in regards to the Palestinian affair- showing the contrast of their words to their real ideologies; as from their own reliable books.

And again don’t be fazed and don’t be amazed; lies are a part of their religion.

To the Ahlus-Sunnah, the excellence of the lands of Shaam –in general- and that of al Quds –in particular- is well known. And this is from the core of our cry.

And to show a glimpse of this, Our Prophet SallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam said:

“There should be no travel [to any masjid] except three: The Sacred Masjid [Makkah], and MASJID AL-AQSA, and my masjid [Madeenah].”  (Agreed upon, and the wording is of al-Bukhaaree)

Now look what the raafidha believe in:

From the book of one of their greatest scholars, Ibn Baabaway, who is nicknamed as-swaadooq [meaning the truthful / sincere!!], in his famous book al-Hiswaal; 137, he brings this narration from one of their ‘Imaams’:

“There should be no travel [to any masjid] except three: The Sacred Masjid [Makkah], and the masjid of the Prophet, and the masjid of Koofah.!!”

Yes, this is who they are.

And yes, Al-Aqsa to them is non-existent; as it is in the narration!!

To add further clarity without any vulgarity, I show you the distortions and deviations of this sect of hate:

To us we know the status and significance of Al-Aqsa –as in the Israa wal Mi’raaj– but to them, this is their ideology:

From the most trusted and venerated books of ‘tafseer’ to them, the Tafsir of Iyaashi: Vol3. Page 166, he ‘narrates’ from Abu Abdullaah:

‘That he was asked about the masaajid which have excellence?’

So he said: ‘The Sacred Masjid [Makkah], and the masjid of the Prophet (SallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam)?’

So the questioner said: ‘And the masjid al-Aqsa; may I be ransomed for you?’

So he said: ‘That is in the skies, to it- the Prophet (SallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam)- was raised to.’

So I said: ‘The people say that it is the baytul-maqdis [holy house in Jerusalem]!’

Thus he said: ‘The Masjid of Koofah is better than it!!’

Yes this is what they believe in.

If you are in doubt –then my brother and my sister- I am saddened.

Especially my brethren who are sticking to the correct methodology of the Salafu-Saalih; we have to be aware of these people –so as to preserve the Sunnah- and so as to inform the general people.  Indeed their ‘recruitment’ in the Muslim lands –and even in the West- is so apparent, that to witness it; does not require any special talent. [1]

And to satisfy your doubt –if any- just look at what is greater than this; look at what is their perception of Makkah The Sacred: http://theshia.wordpress.com/category/karbala/

And if someone was to ask: ‘why focus on this?’

We say –and any person with an intellect would agree- that if we really want to solve our problems; then we need to find and point out their causes and their ‘optimizers’.  And surely this necessitates that we need to come up openly, honestly, and clearly –even though there are those of us who find the truth to be hard- but this is the sad reality and the clear actuality.

So this was just a reminder to all of us –not to be overtaken by emotions and false calls of going out and shouting in the streets- while we could have used that precious time for supplication; which is so precious and more valuable to all of us [and especially to your suffering brethren]. [2]

Indeed the Prophet (SallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam) said:

“Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication) He becomes shy to return them empty.” [3]

(Authenticated by Imaam Al-Albaanee in Mishkaat, also narrated by Abu Daawood, Ibn Maajah, and Tirmidhee who said it is hasan)

And to the victims in Gaza [4]: ‘We sincerely advise you to have:

-Patience,

-And steadfastness,

-And good thoughts about Allaah,

-And to hold on to His religion,

-And to return to Him alone,

-And to rely on Him,

-And to supplicate to Him; and to exert on that,

-And to abandon splitting up and differences,

-And to [always] have a look at things –from the Legislative perspective- and [also] their consequences in times of peace and war:

And this –InshaAllaah- is the way to victory over the enemy.

As Allaah Has promised:

“Verily, We will indeed make victorious Our Messengers and those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism) in this world’s life and on the Day when the witnesses will stand forth, (i.e. Day of Resurrection)…” (Ghaafir: 51)

And His statement:

“And, verily, Our Word has gone forth of old for Our slaves, the Messengers, That they verily would be made triumphant. And that Our hosts, they verily would be the victors.” (As-Saaffaat: 171-173)

And we remind our brethren, of His statement:

“Or think you that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, “When (will come) the Help of Allâh?” Yes! Certainly, the Help of Allâh is near!”  (Al-Baqarah: 214)

Footnotes:

[1]Even the Muslim brotherhood – who for decades- called for the ‘co-operation of the Sunni and Shia’ and ‘that our differences are only in subsidiary matters’; in the last few months –they have finally woken up [well at least some of them]- when seeing how the raafidha have spread [their missionary work] in Egypt [and other lands of the Sunnah]!!

To the point that one of the raafidha even wrote some grievous, oblivious, slanderous stuff – in a publicized magazine- on our Mother; ‘Aisha (radhiyaAllaahu anha)!!

How wishful it is that they come back to the correct Manhaj – and that they would have taken the advices and the path of the Imaams of the Sunnah like Al-Albaanee and Ibn Baaz.

And surely the doors repentance and of rectification are still open.

And as it has been stated in the previous article: the main goal of the raafidha is to create chaos in the Muslim lands so that the way becomes easy for them. For an exposition on this: Iran’s Fifty-year Plan to export the Revolution

The Palestinian Crisis 5a: A message to the People of the Sunnah -Especially in Egypt.

All perfect praise is for Allaah alone, and may His blessings and good mention be upon the last of the Prophets, and his family and his companions.

To Proceed:

The enemy of Allaah –Hasan Nasrullat- yesterday[1] requested from the People of Egypt –the army and the whole population- that they come out on to the streets as demonstrators against their administration!

Rather he gave them a ‘fatwa’ that whoever of them who might be killed –in these demonstrations- then he is a martyr on the path to Paradise!! [2]

And it is as if he has been given prophecy -in the way he talks- rather he is a liar. He takes oaths strongly; while he is indeed an enemy of Allaah!

Then he says –addressing the people of Egypt- : The police cannot restrain 80 million Egyptians!!

And this is not strange to come from him; for certainly this is the goal of the Jews –past and present- as they have clearly stated in their books: their goal is to install repulsion on the Arab societies for their rulers, so that chaos erupt – and the way will [easily] be opened for them!!

Thus they are like bacteria – they don’t thrive except on trial and tribulations- just like the bacteria do not thrive except on decomposing things.

But [strange] is the ignorance of this stupid one – Hasan Nasrullat- [ignorant to know] that the people of Egypt don’t take orders from him,

And [stupid he is, not to know] that most of them –the Sunnis of Egypt- have insight over his plots, and the plots of his vile cult.

Surely a person would be amazed at the insolence of these sick people;

How does this coward request from 80 million -this revolution and going against the administration- just like this!?

If you mom was living there, and your wife, or you children were living in between this society- would you go ahead and command a revolution and chaos?

Or would you be happy with the spilling of blood and the transgression over personal honors, and that a whole nation changes into chaos –of which none knows the consequences except Allaah!?

Who is the one who gave you the right in commanding and directing the Arab [Islamic] societies?

Who is the one who chose you for that -and that you are its warner- and its giver of glad tidings!?

Why don’t you send your missiles which you recently announced about [and boasted] that they have reached thousands in numbers?

Why don’t you release them for the land called Israel!?

Why don’t you move, O nasrullat?

But I don’t blame only you; rather I also blame those heedless foolish ones from the people of Islamic political movements,

Those who have painted -for the public- the picture that Hizbullat is calling to Islam and is defending it!  And that it is the one that is raising the banner of Jihaad on earth!

By Allaah; it is raising the banner of the raafidha!

Strange are the plans and plots of the raafidha; how they ease for the Jews to be established in the earth!

By Allaah This is a Fitna, A great fitna.

Thus it is upon the Ahlus-Sunnah to establish the creed of the Salaf to the people of Egypt;

It is necessary to teach them the correct creed as to how to deal with their Islaamic rulers.

It is necessary to teach the people how victory and establishment will come for this religion.

It is incumbent to call to Allaah upon the true manhaj (methodology);

Every one teaches his family, and their neighbors –according to their ability.

It is necessary to expose to all the Muslims; the danger of these raafidha [3], and the dangers of partisanship, and the dangers of deviated ideologies.

And you people of Egypt; beware that history shall come –at a day- and mention that the people of Egypt left their intellects and thus they wasted and lost their land –and gave it away easily- to the enemies of Allaah; through the direction of the deviated raafidha!

Beware and beware that history shall note you down like this!

And Allaah is the Helper.

The Palestinian Crisis 5b: A Call to the Muslims in Egypt Specifically, and to all the Ahlus-Sunnah in General

Shaykh Jamal bin Farihan al-Harithi

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
All perfect praise is for Allaah alone, and may His blessings and good mention be upon the last of the Prophets, and his family and his companions.

A call to the People of Egypt- and All Ahlus-Sunnah in General:

Trials are approaching – rather they have come- so beware of them, surely the trials are not known before they come; except by the scholars.

So O Muslim, listen to the advice of those who give you advice from -among the scholars and the students of knowledge- those who know the sect of the raafidha: ‘The shia raafidha imaamiyya [those who believe in the sacredness of the 12 imams]’: for indeed they are from the most despicable of cults, and the one which has most enmity to the Ahlus-Sunnah; rather they are more dangerous to us than the jews and the christians- as has been mentioned by the ‘Ulamaa –past and present.

This is because the enmity of the jews and christians is clear; while the enmity of these raafidha is worse- as they ascribe themselves to Islaam- and appear as Muslims to the general masses of Muslims.

And as to be on clarity in regards to them, I will bring you these words quickly; for surely their actions are many and cannot be encompassed here:

1. Ask history: who is the one who abandoned Husayn ibn ‘Alee (radhiyaAllaahu anhuma) and handed him – such that he was killed and beheaded……

Aren’t the Shia raafidha the ones!??? [1]

2. Ask history: where did the Qaraamita sect appear from –those who killed- the people performing Hajj in the courtyard of the Ka’bah in the Grand Masjid in the year 317 H. And they buried the more than 3000 pilgrims –they killed- into the well of Zamzam !  And they stole the Black stone and disappeared with it for 21 years….!!!!

Didn’t they spring out from the veil of the shia raafidha?

3. Ask history: who are the ones who established for the disbelieving Ubaydiyya; a state in Egypt under Alee ibn Ubaydullaah ibn Muhammad al-Mahdee –who is from the progeny of the jews- and he had falsely and deceivingly claimed that he is from the progeny of Faatima (radhiyaAllaahu anha)!

Aren’t the Shia raafidha the ones!???

4. Ask history: who are the ones who tried to exhume the grave of the chosen one (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam)- TWICE– wanting to move it to the lands of Egypt!! And this was in the beginning of the fifth century Hijri.

Aren’t the Ubaydiyyun raafidha the ones!!???

5. Ask history: who are the ones who built tombs to be worshipped instead of Allaah, and who are the one who built a shrine for Husayn in Egypt – and claimed that his head is in there? [2]

Aren’t the Ubaydiyyun raafidha the ones!!???

And the raafidha haven’t ceased upto this day; visiting it and worshipping it!!

6. Ask history: who are the ones who brought down the Abbasid state; by deceiving the Khalifah –Mu’tassim billaahi in the year 656H- and entered the Tatars into the lands; such that they killed over a million Sunnis!!

Isn’t it Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-‘Alqami  the shia raafidhee? With the help of Nasirudden al-Toosee the raafidhee!!??

7. Ask history: about the Safavid Iranian republic how it came about? Under the rule of its founder Shah Ismail ibn Haydar the Safawi Raafidhee, and ask what he did to the Ahlus-Sunnah. Didn’t he kill almost a Million Sunnis!!??

They didn’t have any crime nor any sin except that they did not believe in the shia raafidhee ideology!!

8. Ask history: about those who give precedence to Karbala over Makkah, rather even over the Sacred house of Allaah!!

Aren’t the Shia raafidha the ones!??? [3]

9. Ask recent history on what the shia raafidha did during Hajj in Makkah the Sacred; of the actions of destruction and spreading of chaos!!?

10. And from that which is greater: Ask history, who are the ones who make takfeer of the companions of the Prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam)- the carriers of this religion!!?  [4]

And they falsely accuse the Mother of the Believers –‘Aisha the daughter of the truthful one (may Allaah be pleased with her)- the wife of our Prophet in this world and the here-after!!?  [5]

Aren’t the Shia raafidha imaamiyaa the ones!??? [6]

So take heed O people of intellect !

Ask yourselves -O Muslims- who want the truth and reality;

Ask yourself what happened to Lebanon –of the destruction- two years ago!!??  Wasn’t it by the deceiving of Hasan nasrullat the leader of Hizbullat!!?

Ask yourself where are these 3000 missiles which they claim – are pointed at the land called Israel!?  When is the time, and what are its effects, and what have you done!!?

Lies and deception.

Ask yourself why the jews didn’t destroy the areas of Hasan nasrullat in the south of Lebanon- which is more closer to Israel- rather they went for the heart of Lebanon [where there is Ahlus-Sunnah] and they left the area of Hizbushaytan !!??

So take heed O people of intellect!…..

The Palestinian Crisis 4: Lessons From The Qur’ân – by Imaam Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (Rahimahullaah)

Allaah The Exalted Says:

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

By the heaven, holding the big stars .

And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection);

And by the witnessing day (), and by the witnessed day [];

Cursed were the people of the ditch;

Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel,

When they sat by it (fire),

And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them).

They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allâh, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise!

Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allâh is Witness over everything.

Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allâh), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire.”

[Suratul Burooj: 1-10]

The Imaam , Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) said:

In these verses there are lessons:

-Allaah The Exalted might give His enemies the upper hand over His allies, so don’t be amazed when Allaah The Mighty and Majestic let’s the kuffar have the upper hand over the believers – and hence they kill them, and burn them, and transgress over their honour – don’t be amazed.

Surely Allaah The Exalted has wisdom behind all that.

The victims from among the believers; their reward in front of Allaah is great [InshaAllaah].

– And those transgressing disbelievers; Allaah is giving them some time- and He shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not.

– And for the rest of the Muslims; for them [these occurrences] are lessons, and admonitions [to benefit and build upon] – as to what is happening to their [victimized] brethren.

So for example we hear of what is happening of the great transgressions: of the honour [of Muslims], and the destruction of property, and the hunger suffered by the young and the weak old ones- we hear of things which makes you cry.

So we say: ‘SubhaanaAllaah [Far removed is Allaah from any imperfection], what [and how] is this strength given against those Muslims !!?

But we say: ‘O, my brother; don’t be amazed – for indeed Allaah The Exalted Has struck for us an example in those before us – who used to be burn the Believers with fire.’

Thus for those brethren of ours –in the Islamic Lands- who have been [wrongfully] overwhelmed:

– This is a raise in degree for the victims.

– And a reason for the sins to be expiated.

– And it is a lesson for the rest. [1]

– And it is also a delusion for those disbelievers such that when they [continue upon] transgression – then Allaah destroys them.

And from the other points of benefit in these verses:

That these disbelievers they did not extract from the Muslims [and punish them for] any sin- except one sin, and it is : That they believed in Allâh, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! [2]

And [surely] this is not a sin. Rather this is the truth. And the one who denies it; he is the one who is reprimanded.

So we ask Allaah The Exalted, The One who is free from All Imperfections ; to aid and grant victory to the Muslims in all places, and that He prevents from us the evil of our enemies, and that He return their plots onto themselves : Indeed He is All-Able.’

End of the Shaykh’s words.

Footnotes:

[1] The Shaykh said this in they year 1414 [almost 16 years ago], And still after all these years, we still have not taken heed, and learnt and rectified, and built upon those happenings  !!

Surely we are all to blame – in our respective capacities.  We ask Allaah to forgive us.

[2] How wishful –and sad- that the one[s] who said; ‘our confrontation with the jews is not of aqeedah!!’   I wish that they realize the truth and return to the way of the Salaf – especially in interpreting the Qur’an and the Sunnah- and leave off partisanship.

[3] A reminder to our brethren in Gaza [and all the other oppressed lands],

Allaah Says:

“Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: “We believe,” and will not be tested.

And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allâh will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars, (although Allâh knows all that before putting them to test).

Or those who do evil deeds think that they can outstrip Us (i.e. escape Our Punishment)? Evil is that which they judge!

Whoever hopes for the Meeting with Allâh, then Allâh’s Term is surely coming. and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.”  (Al-Ankabut: 2-5)

A reminder to our brethren in Gaza [and all the other oppressed lands],

Allaah Says:

“Indeed in the Messenger of Allâh (Muhammad sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allâh and the Last Day; and remembers Allâh much.”  (Al-Ahzaab: 21)

If we take a look back at the Seerah of the best of all people (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam)- we will see the trials, tribulations, oppressions- he went through; from his own people-!! Let alone from the cursed jews!!

How many times did they -all- plan to kill him !?

Indeed in him (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam) and his companions (may Allaah be pleased with them all) we have a sufficient example.

Especially in times of weakness [as we are in now].

So brethren in Gaza be patient – and most importantly- return back [you and us] to Allaah; indeed there is no might nor any change except by His will.

A reminder to our brethren in Gaza [and all the other oppressed lands],

The Word of The Supreme:

‘But give good news to those who are patient, who, when a calamity strikes them, say: ‘Indeed we belong to God and indeed to Him we shall be returning: They are those on whom are blessings from their Sustainer, and mercy-and those, they are the rightly-guided.’   (Al-Baqarah: 155-157).

And His promise :

‘So surely, with the hardship, there is relief…Verily, with the hardship, there is relief…’ (As-Sharh: 6-7)

The Palestinian Crisis : ‘Are the Rulers to Blame?’ ,  ‘Isn’t this Ummah aided by Allaah!?’

‘The weakness which has succumbed the Ummah- its responsibility is not carried by one person individually– rather all [of the Ummah at all levels] from the past; until what is the present time.

This is because now; we are living in the repercussions of the negligence of the past – and we are still living it. Thus it [the responsibility] cannot be carried by an individual who came at the end [of decades of negligence].  [1]

But it is upon this person to exert his effort in trying to raise the status of this Ummah; even if it is by just him rectifying himself, and rectifying his society- of which there is no one who can stop him from that. And this matter [of each individual rectifying himself and those he can] is of great importance [plays a major role] in raising the status of the [whole] Ummah.

So the blame should not be carried by one person who came later on.

And the reasons [for the present situation] are traced back to hundreds of years. But even on top of that; it is upon the heads who are present now, to rectify their souls and their immediate communities.

Certainly when the society is rectified – then there is no doubt that Allaah The Mighty The Majestic- will lift this tribulation from this Ummah, and this weakness, and this humiliation.

[And in reality] humiliation is what has been struck –until the Last Day- on the jews, and it will not be lifted from them except by except under a covenant (of protection) from Allâh, or from the people [2] : and it is known that the protection from Allaah is cut-off [from them], but what is remaining is the support from the people. Meaning if America was to cease; the jews would become alone – if they were not to find another [staunch and all-out] supporter- and thus they would not survive even one day!!

But the ‘protection from the people’ is still attached to them- and this is the reason of their being [what they are right now]- but if she who support them was to cease; this ‘protection’ would end, ‘the protection from the people’ would have ended. And [truly] them [by themselves]; they are nothing – not in numbers nor strength- Indignity and destruction is put over them wherever they may be.

And thus someone might say: ‘How do the brethren of swine and pigs have the upper hand over the best Ummah among all the other Nations !?  And they kill what they kill, And they plot and play around with their societies – while they are those who are weak and those whom Indignity and destruction is put over them wherever they may be- !??’

[The answer is that] Its reason is that this Ummah -which is the best people ever raised up for mankind-  has deviated from the reasons [and means] to strength, and victory, and establishment.

Indeed – by the explicit text- it is the best Ummah:

“You [true believers in Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam) and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind..”   (Al-‘Imraan: 110)

So by the fact that [the best Ummah] are on the lower hand of these putrid ones, [then know for a fact that] this is from the ways of being humiliated by going against the commands of Allaah and the Legislation of Allaah.

Because if a strong Ummah -like it- was to gain the upper hand over them, then this would not really distinguish the humiliation, unlike when they are being lower to those who are supposed to be lower to them!  Meaning if a strong big man was to come and kill a strong man; then there is no real problem [or strangeness] here, but when the most lowly and weak of men comes and kills the greatest of men; what do you think!?

So it is outrageous in the highest form.  And this [humiliation on the Muslims] is by their degree of going against the commands of Allaah, and His Legislation. And All Help is from Allaah.

In the Tafsir of Suratun-Nisaa; Imaam Ibn Katheer (rahimahullaah) mentioned a story about a servant who used to serve a people. So at a time when her employer was pregnant and was getting her labour pains; he saw a dream and therein a person said to him: ‘Your master shall give birth to a daughter – and this daughter will commit fornication for about a hundred times-  and then after; you will marry her, and she will die from a spider!’

And [of course] he does not want to marry [such] a fornicator.  So what happened?

[Time passed and] when his master gave birth, it was said to him: ‘get a knife so that we cut the umbilical cord’, so he went [and caught the opportunity] and instead he stabbed the stomach of the young child, and then fled to a far land.

He stayed there for twenty years and started therein trading; and became from the rich and the famous.

Then he returned back to the land knowing that the child had died and the whole thing has been forgotten. So he returned; and sought to get married.

Thus he requested from an [old] woman; that she find for him the most beautiful young woman in the land.

And she replied : ‘I know this young woman and she is the most beautiful in this land.’

So she proposed for him this woman, and he got married to her, and loved her greatly and became attached to her – and so did she.

Thus [once] she asked her about who he was, and where he is from?

And he informed him of his story and what happened;

And [amazed] she replied to him : ‘Indeed I am that girl !!!’

He says : ‘You are her!? ’

She says: ‘Yes.’

So he said: ‘Well then there has to be a confirmation of that….’

Thus she showed him the scar of the knife, and indeed he realized it !!

So he said to her: ‘And you have committed zinaa with a hundred men!?’

She replied: ‘Something like that happened, but I don’t know the exact number.’ [ In another narration she said : ‘I have left off what I used to do. And I am not going back to it.]

And as it happened that he had became attached to her, and loved her greatly; so he did not seek to separate from her.

So he informed her: ‘All has happened, and I also saw that your demise would be through a spider.’

And because of his love for her; he built for her – on the suburbs of the city- a great palace with complete security so that he can protect her from that.

And they lived for the period they were destined to; until one day when they were sitting together, when he showed her a spider on the ceiling and said: ‘By Allaah I see a spider on the ceiling!! ’

So she got up and said to him: ‘is this the one you say is the reason for my death [ while knowing how weak and frail the spider is !!] indeed I will kill it before it kills me.’

So the man [for his love] got up and took off the spider from the ceiling; wanting to kill it, but she got up and said: ‘By Allaah there is no one who will kill it except me.’  And she stepped on it, but it happened that when she crushed it; some of the poison of the spider entered between her toe nail and her flesh.

So this resulted into a wound, and slowly, and slowly it grew; it continued until eventually  it caused her death !!’ [3]

So look; what overcame this great, rich, and powerful man ?

Meaning if a lion was to come trying to hunt his wife then there is no problem; it could be legitimate [ and reasonable; due to the power of the lion], but a spider!!?

The [frail] spider annihilates the most precious thing to him and he cannot even protect her!

Now this is humility, this is the peak of indignity and lowliness: just as the brethren of swine and monkeys  –the most lowly and despicable of the people-  have gained strength over the best peoples ever raised up for mankind.

And Allaah is The Helper.

[1]  May Allaah have mercy on the shaykh; indeed this is a scholarly insight which most of us don’t seem to figure out. Especially those who are hasty in pointing fingers, and those who have corrupt ideologies. So let’s take heed.

[2] Allaah says:

“Indignity is put over them wherever they may be, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allâh, and from men; they have drawn on themselves the Wrath of Allâh, and destruction is put over them. This is because they disbelieved in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh and killed the Prophets without right. This is because they disobeyed (Allâh) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allâh’s disobedience, crimes and sins).”  [Aal-Imraan:112]

The Palestinian Crisis II: ‘What is The Obligation of All Muslims ?’

Question:

This one is requesting a statement in regards to the Palestinian brethren; and what is necessary -from the rulers, the Ulamaa, and the Muslims- in regards to them?

And this other one also is seeking a statement of advice…. And Allaah is the Helper.

Answer:

Wallaahi my brothers; we do not have capacity [greater or] other than supplicating for them, so the qunoot is legislated – and if it is not legislated in days like these- then there is no other situation for it! And what has happened today could be exemplified to what happened to the seventy recitors of Qur’an who were killed [unjustly] ! And hence the Prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam) supplicated with the qunoot – for a whole month- supplicating against those who killed them.

So this situation is like that, hence it is upon us to turn to supplication.

And as to what is regarding the issue of the rulers and what is upon them; honestly and certainly these are matters which are of their concern. And deficiencies are present, and deficiencies are from all levels: the general Muslims have been deficient, the scholars of Islaam have been deficient, the rulers of the Muslim have been deficient : but that which a person does not have ability of – then he is not obligated of it.

So it is upon each person to be attentive of his own self – and whoever is able to help other than himself- then it is obligatory on him; as it is from the ways of commanding good and forbidding evil while having insight [in what you are doing] – so this is for one who has ability of it. As for one who does not have the capacity; then Allâh burdens not a person beyond his scope, but it is for us to exert and be busy with du’aa.

“And your Lord said: “Invoke Me, [i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islâmic Monotheism)] (and ask Me for anything) I will respond to your (invocation).”   (Ghaafir : 60)

[And He said:]

“Is not He Who responds to the distressed one, when he calls Him….”   (An-Naml: 62)

And the du’aa in secrecy – there is no doubt- that it is closer to Ikhlaas [sincerity in directing the action for Allaah alone] compared to the congregational one. But as for these times [we have to note also that] the qunoot is a Sunnah; and reviving it is something legislated – and also- sticking on to what has been narrated in the authentic texts from among the supplications mentioned or used by the Prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam). And it has been established in the authentic hadeeth that he supplicated – rather he cursed- those transgress upon the allies of Allaah :

‘O Allah, let Your curse be on those disbelievers who prevent people from Your religion, and they reject Your prophet, and they show enmity to Your allies….’ [authenticated by Imaam Al-Albaanee in Fiqhus-Seerah]

And he would supplicate for the weak ones from among the Muslims [and even mention them]: O Allaah aid so-and so, and so-and-so: in specific and to the general Muslims.

In all; [we say] the general Muslims do not have capacity except of du’aa, and the orders are from the leaders – and [surely] the leaders have their policies and actions- and indeed they have a great responsibility in front of Allaah The Most Mighty The Majestic.

And Allaah is the Helper.’

The Palestinian Crisis  : Clarification by the Permanent Committee for Islaamic Research and Verdicts

Assalaamu Alaykum,
This is a statement just released by the Permanent Committee for Islaamic Research and Verdicts : on the Palestinian crisis.
If there is good in the translation then it is from Allaah, and if there are mistakes then it is from me and the shaytaan; and your advise would be appreciated InshaAllaah.
It says
:

‘All perfect praise is for Allaah The Lord of All that exists, and may His blessings and good mention be upon the best of His Prophets and Messengers; our Prophet Muhammad, and also his family and his companions and those who follow them upon good; upto the Last Day.

To Proceed:

The Permanent Committee for Islaamic Research and Verdicts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has followed – with all sorrow and pain- what has occurred, and is still going on against our Muslim brethren in Palestine – and specifically in Gaza. That which is [actions] of oppression, and killing of children, and women and old people! And [it is] transgression on that which is sacred [innocent], and the destruction of infrastructure and institutions, and the terrorizing of innocent people. And there is no doubt that this is a crime and oppression on the rights of the Palestinian nation.

And at this sorrowful event; it is an obligation on the Muslims to be with their Palestinian brethren, and to help and aid them, and to make an effort to lift the oppression against them – through any means which is of their reach – so as to actualize the Islamic bond, and the ties of ‘Eeman.

Allaah The Exalted said:

“The believers are indeed brothers [in Islâmic religion].”  (Al-Hujuraat: 10)

And He The Most Mighty, The Most Majestic said:

“The believers, men and women, are Auliyâ’ (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another…”   (At-Tawba : 71)

And The Prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam) said :

“The believer to another believer is like the structure [like a wall] ; each part strengthens the other,’  and then he co-enjoined his fingers.”  (Agreed upon)

And he (may Allaah’s blessings and good mention be upon him) also said:

“The example of the believers in their relationship, and their love, and their having mercy upon each other ; is like the example of one body part to the rest of the body; if one part is affected then the whole body complains of fever and pain.”  (Agreed upon)

And he (may Allaah’s blessings and good mention be upon him) also said:

“The Muslim is the brother of another Muslim; he does not oppress him, nor does he deceive him, nor does he give him up to the enemy, nor does he look down on him.”  (Narrated by Muslim)

And help comprises of many things –according to the ability, and depending on the situations – whether it is intellectually or physical [things], or whether it is from the general Muslims through wealth, and food, and medicine, and clothing, and other things. Or whether it is from the Islamic Arab nations through making it easy and possible that the aid reaches them, and by taking a sincere position in regards to their [the Palestinian Muslims] matter, and by supporting their case in the gatherings, and seminars, and the international conferences:  And all of these are from the ways of co-operation upon good and piety – which is something that is ordered- in the statement of The Exalted :

“Help you one another in virtue, righteousness and piety…”  (Al-Maaida : 2)

And also from those ways is: to direct sincere advice to them [the Muslims in Palestine], and to direct them to that which is of good and of benefit to them. And from the greatest of those is to make du’aa for them -at all times – so that their tribulation is lifted, and their affliction is raised, and that their situation is rectified, and that their statements and actions become good.

Upon this, we also advise our Muslim brethren in Palestine to have fear of Allaah – The Exalted- and to return to Him, just as we advise them to be united; upon the truth, and to leave off divisions and splitting up, and not to give a chance to the enemy – who has taken advantage of it – and will continue to use it in enmity and oppression.

And we also encourage and emphasize our brethren to take the causes which will lead to lifting the oppression directed at their land – while having complete sincerity to Allaah The Exalted – in [those and all other] actions, and to seek His pleasure, and to seek His assistance – through righteous actions, and prayers, and consulting the scholars and people of wisdom; in all their matters – indeed that is a way of being facilitated [to that which is good] and establishment.

Just as we call on to the intellectuals in the world and the international meetings; to have an open look at this catastrophe – with a look of insight, intellect, and equality – so that the Palestinian community can be given its rights. And so that the oppression be lifted from it: such that they live in a honourable life. And at the same time we thank all -the nations and individuals- who have initiated in aiding and helping them.

We ask Allaah by His Beautiful Names and His Lofty Attributes; that He lifts the despair on this Ummah, and that He strengthens its religion, and to raise its statement, and to aid His allies, and to disgrace His enemies -and to return back their plots against themselves- and to save the Muslims from their evil, Indeed He is the Patron, and the One who is Most Able of all that. And may His blessings and good mention be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and also his family and his companions and those who follow them upon good; upto the Last Day.’

Rather it is a sincere advise to all those involved – in their respective- categories.

And InshaAllaah it will be followed by our next article – in this series – of the Palestinian Crisis; What is The Obligation of All Muslims?

Please forward to all.

“There was a man who desired a woman; while she was un-willing.

So [in the turn of events] she said to him : ‘You are someone who has recited the Quran, and heard hadeeth, and are knowledgeable!’   [Yet you do this!!]

Thus he replied: ‘[Just] close the doors of the mansion.’

So she obliged and did so.

Then he approached her and got close to her…

So she said: ‘There is one door which I did not close!’

He inquired: ‘Which one?’

And she says: ‘The door between you and Allaah The Most Exalted The Blessed….’

The narrator said: ‘And there he did not object to her statement.’ [Meaning he retreated from what he had aspired.]

Lessons:

1. The obligation of resisting not to fall into sins.

2. The nafs [soul] & the shaytaan need to be fought; as at every opportunity they call to sins and mischief – even for those who have knowledge.

3. And this reminds us of the fact that knowledge is actions and not just information stored.

4. The bad effects of seclusion between male and female.

5. Being determined in preventing the occurring of a sin by any means, especially by admonishment and reminders about Allaah.

6. The believer when he slips and is then reminded : he remembers and benefits.

7. Keeping in mind –every time & all-times – that Allaah The Exalted encompasses us.

Narrated Imaam Al-Awzaa’ee from Abdullaah ibn Muhammad who said: “One day I set out to the shore on patrol; and those days we were stationed at Al ‘Arish [A town in N. Egypt], thus when I came to the end of the shore, I saw a small tent [at a distance – in the desert] so I set out for it.

Inside it there was a man who had lost his hands, and had lost his legs, and his sight and hearing had become heavy due to the affliction he had – thus there was not anything [more realistically] beneficial to him than his tongue.

And he was saying: ‘O, Allaah enable [and facilitate] for me that I praise and thank You, the praise which equates thanking You for the blessings which You have bestowed on me and gave me excellence to many more of whom You created.”

So I [was amazed and] said to myself: ‘By Allaah, I have to approach this man and ask him, from among the favours and blessings; what does he really have!? [While he is in this state!]  Why is he saying these words? Does he have understanding, or knowledge of what he is saying!? Or is it just desires!?’

So I approached the men and gave him the salaams [greetings of peace] and I said to him: ‘I heard you and you were saying: ‘O, Allaah enable [and facilitate] for me that I praise and thank You, the praise which equates thanking You for the blessings which You have bestowed on me and gave me excellence to many more of whom You created.’  So what favours and blessings do you [really] have [while you are in this state!!] and what excellences has He favoured you with such that you praise Him because of them?’

So he replied: ‘Even on top of all what you see [of my deficiencies]; If Allaah was to send a fire from the sky to burn me, or commanded the mountains to crash me, or ordered the seas to drown me, and ordered the earth such that it swallows me: I would not increase except in thanking and praising my Lord – due to what He has favoured me with – of a tongue [which I use to worship Him] !!

So, O slave of Allaah; as you have come here – and as you see my state – I have a need from you: as you see I have no capability over myself in benefitting or harm. But I have my son who comes to me at the time of prayers and he helps me in making Wudhoo for my prayers, and when I am hungry he feeds me, and when I thirst he gives me to drink: But I have not seen him for three days now – so help me by looking for him, may Allaah have mercy on you.’

So I said: ‘By Allaah there is no one who can get a better reward from Allaah by going out to help someone who is most worthy of being helped than someone like you.’

Thus I set out looking for the son, and I had not gone a far distance when in between two sand-dunes I found a boy who had been attacked by a beast of prey and it killed him for meat ! I was in shock. And very overwhelmed in emotion..

And I said to myself, in what way shall I approach this man to explain to him this [while he is that state !]?

And after some time, I remembered the prophet Ayyoob (may peace be on him) [and how he was tried].

So I returned to the man, and entered; gave him salaams, and he replied the salaams and he said: ‘Aren’t you my friend? [I.e. you are the same person who was here right?]’

And I replied: ‘Indeed.’

So he said: ‘What happened to what I asked of you?’

And I replied: ‘Are you more excellent –in front of Allaah- or is the Prophet Ayyoob [May peace be on him]?’

He replied: ‘Of course, the Prophet Ayyoob [may peace be on him] is.’

Then I said: ‘You know what Allaah did with Him, how He tested him through his wealth, his family, and his children?’

He replied: ‘Of course.’

So I said: ‘And how did He find him?’

He replied: ‘Patient, Thankful, and Praising His Lord.’

So I said: ‘And that was until after [his trial was so hard that] his friends and his relatives abandoned him, do you know that?’

He replied: ‘Yes.’

So I said: ‘And that was until after [his trial was so hard that] the passers-by used to look down upon him [Ayyoob, due to the state he was in], do you know that?’

He replied: ‘Yes.’

So I said: ‘And how did his Lord find him?’

He replied: ‘Patient, Thankful, and Praising His Lord. May Allaah have mercy on you; Be concise.’

Thus I said: ‘The boy you sent me to search for, I found him in between two sand-dunes; and had been attacked by a beast of prey and it killed and ate him! So may Allaah bestow on you patience and increase you in reward.!!’

So he said: ‘All perfect praise is for Allaah who did not create from my off-spring those who would become open sinners such that they would have to be punished by the fire.’

Then he said the istirjaa’ [We are from Allaah, and to Him we shall all return (legislated to be said at times of calamity)], and [suddenly] he gave out some groans, and he then fell dead !

Indeed we are from Allaah, and to Him we shall all return !!

My calamity and despair just became greater. [What shall I do??]

A man like this, if I leave him here he will be eaten by the beasts, and even if I was to stay here; I cannot do anything! I cannot benefit nor harm!

So I covered him, with a cover [blanket] he had, and I sat there on the side of his head; crying.

[After some time] While I am still in that state; I notice the approaching of four horse-men, and [when they got to me] they inquired: ‘O servant of Allaah, what is with you? And what is your story [why are you like this]?’

So I narrated to them my encounter. And then they said to me : ‘Un-cover his face, maybe we might recognize him.’

And I did just that; when the man fell down: and kissed the [dead] man’s hands at time, and kissed his forehead at times!!

And they were saying: ‘My may father be ransomed for you; Eyes which were restrained from the prohibitions of Allaah, My may father be ransomed for you; his body endured in worship while people would be sleeping!! ’

So I said to them: ‘May Allaah have mercy on you, who is this man!?’

They replied: ‘This is Abu Qilaaba al-Jurmiyy, the companion of Ibn ‘Abbaas. He used to have immense love for the Prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam).’

Then we washed him, and shrouded him with some clothing that we had, and we prayed over him, and then buried him…

And the men left and I went away; back to my resting-place.

During that night, when I was sleeping; I saw in a dream: that the [same] man was in a garden from the gardens of Paradise, dressed up from the beautiful adornments of paradise, and he was reciting in a tarteel [slow, rhythmic, correct form of recitation] :

Salâmun ‘Alaikum (peace be upon you) for that you persevered in patience! Excellent indeed is the final home!” [1]

So I said: ‘Aren’t you my companion [whom I encountered today]?’

He replied: ‘Yes. Of course.’

So I said: ‘So how is all this!?’

He said : ‘Indeed Allaah Has kept degrees which cannot be achieved except by patience in the times of difficulty, and being thankful [and humble] during the times of ease – and [while in both these situations] – having fear of Allaah [by observing his commands] in private and in company of others.’

Lessons :

1. Excellence of being thankful and patient in times of luxury and distress.

2. If you think you are in difficulty, try to open you eyes [and mind] and think of the numerous Muslims -all over the globe- and the humanitarian situations they are facing.

And at least lets make du’aa for them. At least.

3. The life of this world is too short. So make the best of it.

4. Enduring patience in this short time – while having the correct creed and being on the correct methodology – InshaAllaah entails bliss in the eternal life.

From Al- Hasan who reported : Abu Dardaa (radhiyaAllaahu anhu) used to say :

من يتبع نفسه كل ما يرى في الناس يطل حزنه ولا يشف غيظه

“The one who’s soul follows [desires] all that which he sees possessed by the people :  he just increases his sadness, and will never satisfy his cravings.”
